Hulanesian Fitness is more than just a Fitness Program. It is uniquely designed with the required fitness elements to ensure that you are performing and executing your dance movements whilst utilising your body to express the emotion, feeling and Soul of a song.

All dance Choreography has been specifically tailored and made in combination with all the fitness components. We have an array of Drums of the Pacific, Island Soul, RnB infused. But the heart of it all is Whakapapa (our history and keeping it alive). We all have a story and when we learn how to connect to it thru song and dance we than create magic. We connect to our Soul where our body learns to tell its story by using ‘Beautiful Hands and Dangerous Hips’.

Our Instructor Training  Programme

Requires you to practice and master our fundamentals, elements and exam choreography and demonstrate with video evidence to our graduate panel of trainers. This process is done in your own time.

Qualifying for this programme requires skill, commitment and enthusiasm for all things Hulanesian, suitability will vary among participants.

  • Learning the Basic Principles of Hulanesian Fitness, Elements, Essence and tikanga

  • Fundamental focus, basics of the programme

  • Focus on executing fundamental movements correctly for teaching purposes

Note: The Online program consists of a compulsory graduation system – in which our Master certifiers will attain whether or not you are an appropriate match to become certified and to qualify as a class instructor. This will require task completion, self- video and diagnosis. You have 6 months from your signup date to complete all tasks.
